In this chapter you will learn how to set up the package related vacuum monitoring.
After creation or change of parameters you should re-load the package data at the machine and check the settings in teach mode.

Check the box to activate the package-related vacuum monitoring. This option doesn't influence the pick-up process of a MX placement machine. |

Threshold |
xx |
The threshold is package dependant. The threshold indicates the required minimum increase of the vacuum level when a component is sucked at the needle. Example: The needle has a residual pressure value of 350 hPa when no component is sucked at the tool. A threshold value of 30 hPa means that the residual pressure value must not exceed 320 hPa when a component is picked. Then the component is "accepted" and will be measured at the camera station. The vacuum threshold value in the package lib overrides the tool parameter, which is defined in MIMExplorer/Set/Vacuum. The vacuum threshold value plays an active role in the pick-up process of the MX machine (see component pick-up scheme MX). E.g. the vacuum-on time control depends on the threshold. |
